With headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia, the company has 100% owned and operated facilities in Canada, Hong Kong and Shenzhen, China in order to serve its customers throughout the world.
FineLine was founded in 1998 by Richard Stamper and Richard Jaynes, two veterans of the Auto ID industry who have spent their entire careers in the barcoding business. The company’s roots were in developing software for barcode creation and in using technology to provide barcoding solutions to a wide variety of industries. FineLine’s software division continues to provide a full suite of products for barcode creation and verification across a host of industries.
As the company evolved, its management team recognized a significant void in the marketplace for barcoded tickets, tags and labels. The industry has been marked by a bureaucratic, low tech, low service approach. Many retailers and their vendors were very unhappy with the level of service they received from their traditional suppliers. Many suppliers and their customers seemed to treat the product as a commodity, with little emphasis on the value that could be added through extraordinary service and technology.
FineLine has grown dramatically since adopting its mission of providing industry leading Speed, Service and Innovation to the retail ticketing business. We continue to add capacity and capabilities so that we are able to provide the very best solutions for our customers. We are deeply appreciative of the major retailers and the thousands of suppliers and manufacturers who trust us for their barcode ticketing needs. In addition, we could not be where we are today without the hard work, loyalty and commitment of an extraordinary group of people who work for us in the U.S., Canada , Hong Kong and Shenzhen.
